12/10/10 : The Elephant Of Castlebar Hill

The Lost Cavalry: The Elephant Of Castlebar Hill We're pleased to say that we'll be releasing our first single on November the 15th - it will be 'The Elephant Of Castlebar Hill', a special new mix of the third track from our recent EP. The track is already available via itunes, emusic and amazon as part of the EP, however the new single mix will only be available as a digital download from our bandcamp shop. More details to follow... but it'll be a bargain!

On the day of our single release we'll be playing at The Lexington, Kings Cross for Fortuna Pop! supporting The Singing Adams - aka Steven Adams formerly of Broken Family Band, and his new band. Tickets available here.

You can have a listen to the single mix here.

"A beautifully crafted track that really shows the band's ability to tell a story within a cracking composition. Never at any moment do you feel overpowered by the vast array of instruments at the band's disposal" - The Kaje Magazine

"A lively medley of musical melody" - Stereoboard

29/9/10 : A different kind of interview

A Negative Narrative interview Here's a different kind of interview - we were asked a number of questions but had to reply to each with a photo instead of words. It was quite fun but also suprisingly tricky. I'm pretty pleased with our answer to question 8 though...

Also, we're pleased to say that on Nov 15th we'll be playing at The Lexington, Kings Cross supporting The Singing Adams - aka Steven Adams formerly of Broken Family Band, and his new band. Tickets are available here.

1/9/10 : Desert Tracks live acoustic session for The 405

We set up loads of little compact cameras around Oliver's flat and recorded ourselves playing one of our new songs 'Desert Tracks' acoustic - a special video for The 405 web site. You can watch the video here: www.thefourohfive.com/articles/3927.

We'll be recording a 'studio' version later in the year. Meanwhile, we have exciting single news coming up soon, plus we've been back to Southend starting to record tracks for our second EP... but you'll need to wait a while for that one, some time next year!
